Meet Allen and Jim. They review the games Mass Effect and Crysis. Also on this episode: Wide Open Mind Predictions – what’s hot in science.

Rumor had it that EA games was releasing Crysis for Xbox 360. EA quickly came out to dispel that rumor. If this were to come to pass however, Crysis for Xbox would have new graphics and gameplay since the game as is (graphically superior) could not be handled by Xbox 360. We’ll see if this rumor does come to pass. Just wait for EA to spring a surprise release of Crysis for the 360.

    Hilarious—good chemistry—-great editing—love the new opening graphics/music—the pc/console blurbs were perfect; added more of the comedic touch—-nice having two camera views(two cameras? or two different takes?)—-
    was Steve winking at the camera at one point?—yes, we ALL got the “duty calls” joke:) Leigh’s endtime commentary almost at SNL quality(whoo hoo)——this gets more entertaining each time….love ya

    Wow, you guys have really outdone yourselves this time!! Love the quick Video Game blurbs and the amazing PC/Console ads! Great ideas, kept our attention the whole time! (and I haven’t even been taking my ritalin!) Leigh, your bonus segment at the end was Ha Larious! Everybody loves Curt Venter (I have no clue who that is but man, he was HOT!!) Keep up the stellar work!

    Outstanding episode! I think you’ve found the template for future podcasts. Allen and Jim are highly entertaining – you could probably find a way to work them into all of your episodes. While the gaming details escaped me, I was able to follow the general concepts, which is pretty good considering the last video game I played was Tetris (when it was new!). All aspects of the podcast were great – editing, interviewing, even trendy yet non-distracting background. When’s the next podcast?!

    WOw!!! You guys are talented. When Allen told me about your video-cast, i didnt think it would be top notch production. Great review of mass effect and Crysis. And yeah, i think Jim was bragging on his new rig a wee bit. But, i would too if I had a quad-core system that can run crysis!! Great show, cant wait for the next one!
