Call it a morbid fascination, but my amarylli(s) were starting to die. They were reaching out for their last effort to reproduce before finally withering away. The phrase “Dying Beauty” seems quite cliche, but there was an inordinate amount of beauty in what I saw. I want to be that colorful and vibrant. I want to live up to everything that goes into the phrase, “When I am an old woman, I shall wear purple” and all the other crazy things that go along with it. Watch out, I may stock up on my red shoes sooner than later.
